Auditions

Be the Groove is searching for energetic performers with a solid rhythmic background and a foundation in percussion and/or dance. To find our new groovers, we will be holding auditions on Sunday, August 29 and a pre-audition workshop the Sunday before on August 22.

The workshop will be run by Stephanie Paul, Be the Groove’s Artistic Director, and attended by other BTG ensemble members.  This not a requirement for auditioning with BTG, but it’ll definitely help you prepare for the following week’s audition. Even if you don’t plan to audition, but you’re interested in learning more about what we do, come out and have some fun with us!

Please wear comfortable clothes and sneakers (with clean soles). No need to prepare anything. Bring a headshot and resume if you have them.

Auditions:
Sunday, August 29 11am (will be done by 1:30pm at the latest)
