Gabe Bitto

Gabe graduated from Northwestern University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English with Secondary Teaching Certification for the state of Illinois. While in college, Gabe nurtured his love of rhythm and movement with several different performing groups. He composed for and performed in Boomshaka, Northwestern’s premiere drum and dance ensemble. He was also a member of the Northwestern University “Wildcat” Marching Band drumline, serving as drumline captain for two years. He also experimented with other musical groups with varying degrees of success, including the late “great” Speed Queen. Gabe’s education at Northwestern would not be possible without receiving the Evans Scholarship for golf caddies. He is eternally grateful for the opportunities this scholarship has allowed him. Gabe currently teaches Literature and Composition at Gordon Tech High School, as well as instructing the Gordon Tech Step Team.
