Nicole Pellegrino

Nicole is proud to have been Be the Groove’s founding Educational Director, as well as a founding ensemble member. A Northwestern alumna, Nicole performs/devises/improvises/writes   theatre/movement/music/words. Her second homes include Lookingglass Theatre and The Actors Gymnasium, where she has been a long-time teaching artist.  Additional Chicago credits include work with Griffin Theatre, The New Colony, Victory Gardens, Drury Lane, Lifeline Theatre, a myriad of circus folk, and skilled rhythmists, among others.  Nicole currently resides in Los Angeles, where she spends much of the day listening to music at Atlantic Records.  Her favorite things include: running, swinging, stretching, momentum, moving with purpose, noise making with purpose, good writing, playful playing, hot beats and “visceral kinesthesia”.  Nicole loves her family and Be the Groove–which are not entirely separate things–very much.
