Join Be the Groove and the Chicago Human Rhythm Project in Millennium Park's summer dance program, a season-long concert series held at the inspiring and iconic Gehry-designed Jay Pritzker Pavilion.
Join us on July 28 at 7:30pm, when many of Rhythm World's faculty will perform alongside youth ensembles and guests from around the globe. Don't miss this opportunity to see the largest city-sponsored concert of tap dance in the history of Chicago, featuring some of the best tap masters in the world!

Always a showcase of Chicago-based tap and percussive arts talent, these concerts will feature some fresh new ensembles formed by several local masters. CHRP also be adding a touch of international flair by featuring their 2008 Artist In Residence Guillem Alonso from Barcelona. This year's program features: Guillem Alonso, BAM!, The Cartier Collective, Jus'LisTeN, Be The Groove, The Huntley Hoofers, and many more....

Be the Groove brings its unique blend of percussion and dance to the Loop for an exciting outdoor performance. Featuring fierce drumming, intense body percussion, and explosive hip-hop dance, Be the Groove will infuse downtown Chicago with its trademark rhythm and energy.
At 8 pm, as the dusk-to-dawn celebration of Chicago artistry picks up, the group will use everything from trashcans to their own bodies to celebrate rhythm in a free concert at the Federal Plaza.

Be the Groove performs with drummer, Northwestern School of Music faculty member, and seven-time Grammy winner Paul Wertico and the Chicago Percussion All-Stars - an ensemble of master percussionists from Chicago, Brazil, and India.
